language tag removed from url ... joomla 3.4.3

Post by alxttr » Thu Jul 02, 2015 10:35 pm

Hi,

I set up a joomla multilanguage site. Categories, articles, menus, menus modules are per language. Joomla language switcher published for all language. Multilangual status checker published in backend (no flags from it). Published Default Home pages (including 1 assigned to language "All").

But when switching from the main language, the language tag (en,fr..) is removed from url after browsing menu items other than the default of the chosen language.

Is this a bug?

Kind regards,
Alex

What do you mean?

Also, can we access your site to check?

Hi,

I mean there are no issues identified by the multilingual status checker.

I can't access that url (it is spammy).
Anyhow, to understand your issue, I would need screenshots of the
1. languagefilter parameters : is the "Remove URL Language Code" set to yes? In that case, it will not show for the default site language.
2. Content Language Manager

Hi,

I didn't know the shorten urls are blocked on the forum.

Anyway, as I submitted as well the same on https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/is ... -118251259 I suppose we can leave this thread.

Kind regards,
Alex

Hi again,

Thx for your help. Actually as you discovered, this is not a joomla core issue.

Kind regards,
Alex

For eventual readers, the issue is the JReviews SEF system plugin
