http://www.mysite.com/ru OK

but in article link ( for example ) http://www.mysite.com/it/spaiggia-di-cuvi I get error - Return tag error (page does not link back)

Looks like it is a common error for these tools (including Google).

If the problem started with the use of the Language code plugin changes, just delete these to keep the original tags in the head.
