Have you defined default menu item for each of the languages used in the site?

Suggest going through the tutorial-cum-demo site http://multilingual-joomla-demo.cloudaccess.net/. In addition to tutorial, being a demo site, you could log into the back-end to see how things are configured. Even though the site is in Joomla! 2.5, the concepts are the same in Joomla! 3.x

To understand how various things that facilitate the Multilingual feature are configured, try the following:

Go to the Module Manager, filter by Administrator, enable the module Multilanguage Status. Once this is done, a link with the text Multilanguage Status will appear in the status bar. Click on the link Multilanguage Status. A pop-window with various settings that facilitate multiligual feature.

In most cases, the information in the pop-up window should be sufficient enough to troubleshoot.

Hi there - Please advise..

Today i have updated one of my sites to the latest versions of both joomla and falang...
I have installed like I did with all other sites.. no difference...

On the new instalation - http://www.starmediaproduction.com which redirects to http://www.starmediaproductiom.ro i have the follwong problems with FALANG

Even I have uninstalled the FALANG and uploaded the new one.

1. I have deleted all translations
2. I have cleared both browser and joomla cache
3. I can still see Romanian translations of both Romanian and English - even tough deleted.
4. Languages seem to be switched between themselves ... Ro shows instead of EN and
En on RO which is very wired

http://www.starmediaproduction.ro/main/index.php/en/ - shows Romanian

http://www.starmediaproduction.ro/main/index.php/ro/ - shows English

Please advise,, i have spend 5-6 hours trying to fix this.. I even compared all modules and plugins with other sites i build (the other ones are not updated, yet)

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Please do not hijack a specific topic.
It is suggested to contact the falang people in your case.
