Issue with German language

Post by aldoRo » Tue Aug 12, 2014 10:53 am

Hi everybody,

I've a multiligual Joomla 3.3.3 online site correctly woking in Italian (default language) and English. Now I need toagg German language. I've installed German language, but there is a problem:
- German language appears in Language Manager --> site and in Language Manager --> Administrattion
- but German language doesn't appear in Language Manager --> Contents.

I've tried with different version of German language pack downloaded from http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/jtrans ... ge_id=6418
but I haven't resolved the issue.

Does anyone have any idea?

Thank you anche cheers,
Aldo

Mod. Note: Relocated the topic from Extensions to the Language J3.x forum.

You have to create the Language in Language Manager --> Contents. Press new.

http://docs.joomla.org/Language_Switcher_Tutorial

You also have to create a Category and a menu for the new language.

@aldoRo

Except for some more functionnalities (associations), look at this 2.5.x demo site. You should get much info including back-end access.
