joomla 3.3 won't remember default language
Hello,
I try everything and simple i don't no what to do.
I have multilingual site, serbian and english.
I want that my default language be serbian and second language to be english.
But always when i go to my root site it is on english.
My configuration:
joomla 3.3
Language manager - Installed site: english and serbian (serbian set to default)
Language manager - content - configure serbian and english.
Menu manager - Main menu - just one button, home button, set to Languages All. Disabled module for Main manu
Menu manager - Serbian menu - everything set to serbian language, also configure default home page. Configure module just for serbian
Menu manager - English menu - everything set to english language, also configure default home page. Configure module just for english
Plugin manager - System-language filter - enabled, configured: Site language, automatic language change to yes.
So, my site is working correctly when you click serbian, or english.
From that side it works excellent.
But my problem is that always when visitors go to my site it is always on english instead on serbian.
Do you have any idea what to try?
Thank you.

Re: joomla 3.3 won't remember default language
What is your site's URL so that others can see what is happening?
What value has been selected for the option "Language Selection for new Visitors."
Be informed that the language browsed will be stored in the cookie and when you go to the site next time, the language stored in the cookie would be used.
What you could do is to set the option "Cookie Lifetime" to Session - by default, the value is Year.

I don't know, how to check?
But it would be good if i could set to serbian as default language in joomla even preferred language in browser.

Re: joomla 3.3 won't remember default language
As you have set Site language as Language Selection for New visitors, if you want Serbian to be the default, go to index.php?option=com_languages
and set Serbian as default for Site
and set Serbian as default for Site

@infograf768
Do you mean to go to language manager and set serbian as default?
If you mean on that, i already set serbian as default language
I upload image to see.
Or you mean on something other?

Re: joomla 3.3 won't remember default language
You may also try to change the ordering of the site's languages in the Content section of the Language Manager.

Re: joomla 3.3 won't remember default language
Automatic language change has nothing to do (normally) with default site language loaded by a non-registered user.
It is only used when a specific site language has been set for a registered user and this user logs in while the site is displaying another language.
I wish I could have tested your site before you changed that setting and after you would have cleaned cache.
