site doesn't detect browser language in chrome

The site doesn't detect the browser language in chrome. Language filter is enabled, Language Selection for new Visitors is set to browser settings. This works in firefox and safari, but not in chrome.

Can someone help me with this issue ? it's kind of urgent.

There is an issue with the plugin "System - Language Filter". This is corrected in the next release 3.4.4. In fact, the Release Candidate of Joomla! 3.4.4 is soon to be released.

I have tested this in the new code base and it seems to work.

I would suggest waiting for 3.4.4.
