Meta data corrupt?

Post by nzaw4 » Thu Apr 17, 2014 12:22 am

Hello,

I have installed RSSEO on joomla 3.2.2

Tried clearing cache, and redoing the same description in RSSEO, not sure how to fix this...

For some reason my meta description for my homepage shows up in crazy letters
99    u " 3$ю  o0I G(=mؾ T: ٟÿl{,hog|xM˹rn;  .

Here is a link to show what kind of letters if these do not show up in the forum.

thanks in advance!

The <meta property="og:description"> looks OK.

When I went to view the source code, you have some weird comment area that has a creepy face and spells out GYAZO in the <head> section. Not sure if that is intentional.

your title is <title>Gyazo - 3298dc8c8a7f220cc80f2b77c5c4ee85.png</title> Which is odd. I dont think that .png files are recognized in the <title> tag.

This code below is adding an image to the top of the page that is like what you describe in your post.

I think the garbage that you are seeing is the alt tag - the double quotation marks are messing it up and the browser is not seeing it as an alt tag - but text which is in a language that the font doesn't support.

<img class="loaded loaded" src="http://i.gyazo.com/3298dc8c8a7f220cc80f2b77c5c4ee85.png" id="gyazo_img" alt="" キャッシュされているなどの場合、jsでloadイベントがとれない場合があるので="" onloadでクラスをつけてロードされたかを見る="" onload="imageLoaded(this)" data-image-id="3298dc8c8a7f220cc80f2b77c5c4ee85" data-image-stared="false" data-type="png" data-permalink-url="http://gyazo.com/3298dc8c8a7f220cc80f2b77c5c4ee85" data-video-file-path="http://i.gyazo.com/3298dc8c8a7f220cc80f2b77c5c4ee85.mp4" data-embed-image-file-url="http://embed.gyazo.com/3298dc8c8a7f220c ... c4ee85.png" data-embed-video-file-url="http://embed.gyazo.com/3298dc8c8a7f220c ... c4ee85.mp4" gz-hover="imageHovering" gz-image-loaded="setupImage()" ng-show="shownType == 'image'">
