SEO problem with Joomla articles
Hello,
I have de following problem:
On my site, I have a problem with SEO articles. In the main menu tab, I have a page that brings me to the list of articles, the page that contains all the items is indeed referenced, but none of the articles are listed on the search engines. So the list of articles is ok but the articles themselves are not referenced...
In addition, the first article (the first in the list so the last set), is visited by the Google robot but once he sees it, he does not know to read, but if I created 2 articles, the first will visited the Google robot, but the second will, he, referenced.
Have you ever had a similar case on your sites? Do you have any solutions? We have already test the links with Google developper tools, but no success.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Re: SEO problem with Joomla articles
Setup a sitemap (xmap) and submit that to webmaster tools...
(you can check the sitemap if these articles do show up correctly too)

What do you mean with "XMAP doesn't work with our joomla?"
It can take a while for them to answer... (my experience too) But usually xmap works straight out of the box..
Explain me what exactly does not work? Can you get us the URL to your site?

Re: SEO problem with Joomla articles
Xmap probably not compatible with our version of Joomla, and we can't update (PHP version limit) or Joomla crash when we update it.

Re: SEO problem with Joomla articles
There are free sitemap creators on the web that will provide a sitemap.xml file for your site.
Once it is made, look over the file in a text editor and see if your pages are being found by the sitemap creator. If they aren't in the list of pages, there is some issue with your internal links.
Also, be sure that you have the correct setting in Global Configuration on the Site Tab near the bottom. You should have "Robots" set to "Index, Follow" for the site.

updated articles are indexed in Google automatically. Now Google has fast their indexing process, but now Google is not indexing duplicate content. Make sure your article content is original by some plagiarism tools. If you are article is original and not duplicated then I suggest you to use Fetch tool available in Google webmaster tools. First submit your website in Google webmaster tool and use this tool to get indexed your fresh and original content just in two hours.

Re: SEO problem with Joomla articles
Ok when I click that http://www.orinox.fr/fr/ and I browse a little,
What I see is urls without id numbers. Did you create menu entries per article?
Second what I see is that when click on english the link says http://www.orinox.fr/en/
But I then get redirected to http://www.orinox-engineering.com/en/
You can avoid this by using this: https://www.yireo.com/software/joomla-e ... ge-domains. You can even drop the locale in the url with that I believe.. but currently I would leave that for a while as you have the locale indexed..
For the missing pages, can you give me a few urls of pages not indexed?

Re: SEO problem with Joomla articles
Inspider software makes a great one called site map creator. It comes with template for HTML and XML and has many settings. Anyway, this is the one I use for all my sites and does the trick. I have heard that xmapp is very good also. I have not tried it yet. I might on this new project.

There are many extensions available for sitemap. In worst case you can submit your articles urls using your webmaster tools as alternate.

Re: SEO problem with Joomla articles
Just not make a static sitemap. It has to be dynamic.
xMap works perfect with Joomla3. What is the status in WMT? How many URLs are submit and how many are indexed?tasolglobal2014 wrote:First you check the crawl status of you website in GWT.
