How to update Meta tags in Joomla 3.4.8 Site?

There are a few places you can do this.

• 1. Global Configuration
  Under the "Site" tab you will see Metadata Settings. This will modify the global metadata settings.

• 2. Menu Manager
  If you are wanting to modify the settings for a specific menu item, you will go into the Menu Manager and open the menu item you want to modify. Click the "Metadata" tab and make your changes.

• 3. Article Manager
  In the article itself, you can click the "Publishing" tab and you will see the Meta fields there.

Depending on what you are wanting to do will dictate which method you use.
