Search Module not working with SEF on

Post by vivianny » Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:46 pm

On my Joomla 3.2 website if I turn ON the SEF option, the search module does not work. It works fine if SEF is OFF.
How can I fix this problem? Thanks!

I found a couple of issues on my website... I don't know if these issues are related to the search problem that I posted before.

1 - if I turn the error report to development I get this error on frontend
Notice: Undefined index: id in /.../components/com_content/router.php on line 59

2 - I also see this warning: Database schema version (3.2.3-2014-02-20) does not match CMS version (3.2.3) but the FIX button is not able to repair the database schema

Everything else is working fine...

I have a related problem with a slightly different message:

Database schema version (3.2.3-2014-02-20) does not match CMS version (3.2.1).

In my case the problem is the same with SEF on and off, a search always returns an unrelated article

Checking just now I received a notice about a new 3.2.3 (?) version ready for install:

Your site has been successfully updated. Your Joomla version is now 3.2.3.

.. and databasefix now returns:

Database schema version (3.2.3-2014-02-20) does not match CMS version (3.2.3).

The search problem is still there but worked as it should before these two updates

Upgrade problems like this has been a nightmare since 3.0 and it seems to continue

Would be realy nice if someone from the joomla team could come up with a workaround

I guess this problem should have been posted in the Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x tread and have created a new post there:
