Google and Joomla Offline page

Hey guys,

Searched high and low for this answer and can't seem to figure it out. I have customized my site offline message as I have a page that will only go live in a few months however we need people to find the "coming soon" page.

Google is not picking my offline page up, I do a site search and nothing. How do you get this page to be found by Google? Do I need to move the offline.php?

Offline pages throws 503 error so Google can't index it.

Thanks for your reply, so if I am understanding this after clicking the "site offline" box in the Joomla 3 Global configuration there is no way to get that page to show up in Google?

I think this has a really easy fix, just create a home page that says "coming soon"
