The site I work on has long since enabled Search Engine Friendly URLS as well as URL Rewriting.

So, what would be: /index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=hotdogs&catid=2&Itemid=101 instead is
/lunch/hotdogs. This works very well, and we've been happy with it for years.

However we realized that on ANY url if you append the number of a valid article you will embed that article on the page. So, /breakfast/pancakes/, for instance, loads all the associated modules for the pancakes article, and the pancakes article itself. However /breakfast/pancakes/101 will have all the associated modules of pancakes but will have the article hotdogs. This happens all over the site. Anywhere you append 101 (or or or) will be filled with the related article. Google has even found a few of these (?!)

Is there any way to stop this OTHER than turning off SEO Friendly URLs?
