Problem with Saving Plugins Order

Every time I change the order of some plugins, e.g. the "Content - Load Modules" plugin to the default "0. Content - Load Modules" and click the "Save" button, its ordering is always reverted to "0. Content - Smart Search".
Why is save not working?

I think you're missing some record in DB, try to run DB fix via Admin > Extensions > Extension Manager > Database, run a fix for db and recheck.

You try to find any update/new install for that extension, by go to Admin > Extensions > Extension Manager > Discover.

Are you sure you are ordering the correct way. There is a difference between ordering the management view and ordering the load order.

Suggest to:
- Go to Plugin manager
- Filter on Plugin type
- Set order to Ordering
- Drag&Drop using the handle in front of the plugin
Issue with migrating? Include logs/joomla_update.php in your report!
Blank screen? Verify pagesource for HTML code (javascript error)
Installation failing on populating database? Install with set_time_limit(0)
Document your customizations!
