Top Menu is wrong displayed in diffrent languages

Hi there,

today i started to make my homepage multilingual. I got the language system working and now i am setting up the rest.
Now i have a problem with the menu displaying (see pictures). The settings for both Languages are exactly the same.

I have no idea where the fault could be or how to fix or what it is.

I hope there is someone here who could help me.

I am using latest joomla 3.4.1 and PHP 5.6.9.

Try the following:

- In the Template Manager, create multiple copies of the template style, one for each language.
- Open each template style for Edit and assign it to the appropriate language.
- In addition, assign appropriate language's menu that corresponds to the assigned language

Hey imanickam,

i have all suggested fixes implemented already.

I have for each Language individual Menus, Templates (copy from each other) and categories. See 1. screenshot.

The second screenshot shows that there is still a submenu as it should work there. The problem is that it shows the first 2 layers of the menu and the 3rd is working again.

The 3rd screenshot shows how it should look like and how it looks with the "ger" language displayed.

I found something out ....
I deleted the whole EN menu and made a new copy. When i tried the menu then, it was correct and working, but behind the names was like (2) and (3), because its a copy. As soon as i change the name in the specific menu and click save, the error appears.
Does anyone has a idea why that happened?

Have you emptied the waste-basket after you deleted the menu?
