Joomla template responsive

Post by lansarkadam » Sat Feb 13, 2016 7:04 am

Hello ,

I created a simple template for Joomla. Several modules and 5 subpages. I'd like to now convert page responsive and do not know how to go about it.

I've read a little about bootstrapie and I know how to format the css class, etc. to simple website in html nicely presented on other devices.

The problem is, I do not know now this created a template from Joomla convert page responsive.

Maybe you know a short course or a tutorial on how it performs. Or maybe some sample source code as it looks more or less.
I would be very grateful for your help.

Regards

Thank you very much for your answer. I'll try to use it.

Someone told me to try the
@media queries css
. What do you think about this ?

Something comes out.

Hi there,

By default joomla! includes a library called Bootstrap v2.3.2, you can
adjust your html to this new structure, by default its responsive.

Here you have more docs:
http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2

If your layout is not very complex, you also can do this manually using
CSS Media Queries.

Here you have some info about MQ:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... ia_queries
http://learnlayout.com/media-queries.html

And here you have another tutorial:
http://www.joomla-css.nl/en/create-your ... tml-design

Cheers!

Thanks Alex , I think I'll start with CSS Media Queries.
