Does anyone know how to disable the responsive for protostar templates?

Or just which are the files that makes the template responsive?

Thanks

In the template manager, you can disable the responsive part of the protostar in the style management. It is in the options tab if I recall.

Why do you want it?
1. Non-Responsive vs. Responsive

Yup, Joomla is now officially responsive – mobile device ready, due to the help of Bootstrap. The front-end will have the responsive built-in feature, the back-end also inherits this tweak. You will NOW officially be able to get your site under control even when you are ”on-the-go” with just a mobile device!
I found out that it is possible to modify almost everything in template.css. Here's some easy instructions

And please see: http://docs.joomla.org/Understanding_Output_Overrides

my advice would be to add a min-width element to your container class, seems to work nicely for me

maybe a pro could tell us if this is the best option

responsive templates are horrible, as if we didnt have enough worries with trying to make one design work on all browsers, now we have to make it work on all screen sizes too

I think its better to just build a separate site for desktops, phones and tablets
