I'm sorry to ask this here, and this may not be appropriate, so I will apologize in advance, but wondered if anyone had experience with Yoothemes and could advise me how I might edit the color of the main background on the inside pages without impacting the main background on the home page.

Specifically on this site:

http://www.memoriesdesign.com/~faith/

If I change the text area on the inside pages, it is impacting the color on the home page behind the icons. I really don't want to have to purchase a membership renewal to ask this question :0)

Go to Extensions > Template Manager
Select your template
Click options tab
Select Customizer
Make your changes and save. Voila

I'm sorry, I see no option for customizer in the templates menu. There are many settings that can be selected, but I don't know how to modify the main content area for one page.

I've watched out your website http://www.memoriesdesign.com/~faith/ and see YOO Infinite template which is based on Warp 6 framework where is no customizer feature. Customizer have appeared in following Warp7 framework.

As concerning background image color, try to find following line:

yoursite/templates/yoo_infinite/css/layout.css at line 58:

background: #FFF;

So, here you may change the color of background at internal pages.
