Problem with default menu shrinking. (yoo_unity template)

I am having an issue with the main menu acting strange when clicking on different links. Clicking a link on the page causes menu to shrink for less than a second then return to normal.

The following is an animated gif showing the problem.

The problem happens on every single browser except Firefox.
