Restriction on images directory

I have articles with limited access (only user belonging to a specific user group can display it). My problem is that pictures included in those articles are stored in "images" directory, so everybody can display it (via direct link).

Do you know how I could manage restriction on Images directory so that only authorised users (i.e. belonging to the user group) can display it ?

You are for too much Joomla bare can not handle
you need a third party, component to help you sort out that!
or you might need a streaming service, one offered by Amazon can work, CDN help too if you set properly
