Please help on things to check for in file change logs

Post by webvirtuoso » Fri Jul 10, 2015 10:33 pm

Hi! A Joomla site I develop was brute forced some months ago and I've been monitoring it's file change logs. The thing is, I'm kind of new to Joomla security and need some help in some speedy stuff I can check for in the file changes. Like, do I have to go through all the lines including the usual updates such as images extension updates css etc. or is there ,maybe some php script that I can use for this? The site has like 7 extensions. Please if anyone can give me some advice or specific Joomla Docs/Manuals that I can read for this particular issue i will appreciate alot.

Easiest thing I can highly recommend is to use myjoomla.com

Hi,
if you want to learn how to help yourself in a hacked website situation, and how to protect and secure your website in the future, this Security section has some "sticky" threads. You should start with them.
For example "Before you post - read and action this" thread.
