Google search results redirects to adult sites

Post by HdAlabama » Mon Jul 11, 2016 4:36 pm

Hello,

A site that I modified recently has this problem, when I enter it directly it goes to the website without any problem, but when I search for it on google it throws weird results with adlt contnt titles and descriptions, also, the url seems fine but when I click it it goes to an adlt website. I think it has something to do with the metadata but I can't find anything on the code (also, I don't know where to search exactly), and in the recent modified files I can't find anything suspicious.

No need it to post it again. Just follow the steps from the post that told you for sure cleaning and not be infected again. When you will be finish and you will be clean again then you must crawl your site again from webmaster tools with fetch as google

Oh yes for sure you are hacked. I simply do not understand why people do not upgrade their websites . You are running Joomla 3.3.0 which is prehistoric and known to be very vulnerable This version has big security holes and you are now infected. This was patched in Joomla 3.4.7 already and we are now on Joomla 3.6.0. http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=902920

Your own 'little' mistake and a good lesson for the future. Keep your sites updated. Oh and look with right mouse on your main page to the code and find the JQuery codes causing this on line 735 - 740. Rest assured that removing these won't help since these are generated via a hidden script somewhere deep in your file structure. So you have no other chance and follow up on the link Ribo posted.....

1. Many users don t update because they affraid the failed update and also they don t know how to back up.
2. Many users build a joomla site and they think that they finished with this until they will see that they were hacked.
I believe these are the reasons that they do the mistake to not update from many posts that i saw before.
