Calendar of Events

Hi! I would like to display a calendar on my website, and I've found one option and that is the JEvents Calendar. You first have to add an event before it appears on the calendar itself. How do i skip that option by providing a database of the events thus importing the database on the calendar without having to add an event individually ?

I also like to add the feature where my website would email or notify me if a certain event is happening right now or when someone's birthday is coming up.

JEvents typically behaves as most calendars do - you add individual events one at a time.

How are your events that you wish to import stored - e.g. in Access Database or a simple Excel or CSV file?

If you have specific questions about JEvents, would suggest you post them on the author's website forum or contact their support for assistance. They might be even able to offer some modifications to allow you to do what you need.

Not sure of the notifications idea, whether JEvents has such a thing.

You might need to explore other calendar options that could possibly have the features you need.

Jevents supports ical files and imports of events from a file.
