Maillist mailing list question

Am looking to upgrade from an ancient MailMan maillist application that has been integrated into, gulp, Joomla 1.0.

Question is... and ya, I've been rooting around looking for solutions.... anyone know of a module/plugin for Joomla 3.* that enables a mailling list registration into MailMan.... or....

.... anyone know of a path to slurping the credentials from Mailman and importing them into *any* Joomla mod/plugin/comp that would work as a mailling list. Currently a user base of 4000....

I've seen something in the Community Builder repositories but it appears to support up to J2.5....

Thoughts anyone??

Thought I would try a year and a half later.... anyone have any insight to anything that ties Mailman and Joomla, 2.5 or 3.*, even if it is just the registration process??
