pass data from module to com_content

hi,

I've a module which generates some html-data. Instead within the module's layout I want to display it in the main-content area. So far I'm using an extension (jumi) to do the job, but I would rather use standard joomla means. My idea was to exploit com_content, but so far I could not find any easy way to trigger com_content to display data from modules.

Has anybody a suggestion how to solve this problem?
