what will be best? any gallery extension that can do it?

Will virtumart work better

Virtuemart is a great shopping cart for selling goods, generally items that can be shipped, but if you are looking to sell photos, you should check out the Paid Downloads category in JED http://extensions.joomla.org/category/e ... -downloads. I am not sure which of the free ones would work the way you want to, but the main functionality you should be looking for is for an online media mall. Best of luck and let us know of your findings!

still searching as we need photo go be bookmarked once shown but when downloaded it wont

Do you mean "watermarked"?

I found a couple that might help you with water marking your images (or at least the one that displays in the store)

Otherwise if you search in the JED for "watermark" you might find others.

I use an extension called "NS Download Shop"

You can sell a gallery of photos or any kind of file types. And also have it categorized. You can also watermark the files. There are TONS of options

The support is fantastic as you will get a response within 24 hours. :-D It's not free, but if you don't find any other alternatives, you can use this as a last resort:
