Insert Video into Article

I was hoping I could upload an mp4 and insert into an article just as easy as an image but I don't see any way to do that using the editor in joomla 3.0.

Is there any way to easily insert videos or is an extension required? I was going to try AllVideos but it looks like it isn't updated for joomla 3.0 yet. Any other suggestions?

I'm guessing for [youtube] videos, I could just copy the html that [youtube] provides but I haven't tried it yet. It would also be nice to have the option to make the video open up in a modalbox.

I would use the free WYSIWYG JCE editor with the paid addon "Extended Media Manager".
It will add the necessary video player HTML in the article upon saving.
