Widgetkit doesn't like 3.3?

Post by lodestone » Tue Jul 29, 2014 9:41 pm

It appears widgetkit lite does not like Joomla! 3.3. I've two sites on the same host, one on J3.2 and one I'm trying to build on J3.3. Both have the WidgetKit Lite image slider. The J3.2 site Widgetkit works great. J3.3 one does not execute the effects properly: some pics don't show at all in their proper spot (just blank) then show in the next spot instead (pic 1 shows in pic 2's spot), some just repeat the same pic, then after that they're all blank no matter the spot. Fade works properly sometimes, if I also resave the WidgetKit module after changing the slider. Ken Burns doesn't work at all; it just defaults to no effects. I even tried uninstalling the one in 3.3 (v1.5.1) and installing the one from 3.2 (v1.4.6) to no avail.

Anyone else have this issue? Better yet, anyone have a fix?

Thanks much all!

Probably should ask something like this from the developers...

James37,

I would if I had a subscription. Only a small sample of forum threads is available to us rabble.
