extension for tracking a being repaired product for example

Hi

when a customer sends a product to my company for warranty,
i want a section on the company's site that customer can keep track of his product to see what situation the product is in. is it received? is it accepted for warranty? is it being repaired? is it repaired? is it ready to send back to the customer? ...
