installing Joomla 3.5.1 on a windows 7 machine.

Hello guys,
I am trying to install Joomla 3.5.1 on a local windows machine (XAMPP) but once it reaches the installation point, the progress bar gets stuck without further activity for several hours. I have successfully installed wordpress on the same machine.

Hello please put in php.ini

max_execution_time = 300

instead of

Code: Select all

max_execution_time = 30

that you have now. After that restart apache to affect your change.

I forgot to tell you, after the changes of php.ini delete the tables of the database from phpmyadmin that may would created and install joomla again.
