"Public" can create article in frontend

Hi All,

I discovered quite strange problem in my Joomla 3.2.3.

Not logged users have rights to create new articles from frontend. in Category lists there is a "new" button and everyone cen create and send an article.

In Users manager guest user group is set to Public. All permits for Public are denied - you can see on attached files.

What am i doing wrong? I've tried to fixed it for whole day.

Any help appreciated.

I'm slightly confused, but what I can tell you is it's inheriting the properties from somewhere so explicitly say deny for what you do not want public users to use.

How much of the permissions did you change around or mess up from the original settings? lol

I have the same problem, the permissions have never been altered. Our site has been up for years, didn't see this with Joomla 1.5 aor 2.5.
