Adding custom ACL permission level to a group

Post by ppetree » Mon Jun 30, 2014 9:24 pm

I'm using Joomla 3.x

I have several groups of users in an association (affiliate members, standard members, officers, directors).

I want to assign a different ACL to each of these groups and for the life of me I can't figure out how to assign an ACL to a group. I've read articles and tutorials here on the joomla site and none of those screens match my screens.

So, how do I assign a custom (knock off of Registered ACL) ACL to a custom group?

(This will effect which modules the users can see and also which pricing levels will be available.)

Thanks!

If you have already created the custom usergroups, create a custom viewing ccess level using the same name and then assign the usergroup to the access level.

It is good to use the same name for documentation purposes.
