Hello guys,
Since last night, i'm not able to login into the backend of my Joomla account.
What I do and what is happening: I go to mywebsite.com/administrator and I fill out my username and password. When I click login, the page just seems to refresh without any error-message being displayed.
However when i put in a wrong password, it does tell me that the password provided is incorrect.
I had two factor authentication installed before this problem occured, my host told me that that was the problem, so I removed the Google authenticator through myphpadmin (with some help as I am a designer and not a programmer)
Unfortunately the problem still exists.
Then my host told me to request a backup through email with them, which they processed, but the problem still remains.
I used different browsers, even my phone, and its all the same, also tech support of my host can reproduce the problem.
I am getting worried, as I cant solve the problem and working on a deadline.
Anyone have an idea what to do?

As stated it's not about the password...I know the password but when entering my details the page just refreshes without processing an error_message....like a loophole....

I have exactly the same problem Joomla v3.4.x.
I cannot log in to the site front end either.
Checked the sessions table in the DB.
Says I am a GUEST not a Super User as I should be.
I have tried dropping the rows in the sessions table then login again.
Joomla tells me my session is ended.
log in again - same problem - form refreshes - blank fields - no login.
Is this a corrupted ACL table?
How can I reset it?
Where can I find the User Manager Options in the database?
This seems to be a serious bug - others have the same problem.
