Hi there,

At this time there are some things that can't be edited from the front-end, for
example the menu items.

I am not aware if there is any extension that allows this feature.

One posible solution:

- You can configure the Access Level in the back-end for your users, If you
go to: System > Global Configuration > Site Tab > Site Settings block we
have an option called "Mouse-over Edit Icons for", select Modules & Menus.

Now, in the front-end, login to the site and you can see a little icons for edit
modules and menus, the menu item option will redirect you to the back-end.

I recommend you see the following information in order to understand the
ACL concept and can apply it properly, see this complete tutorial:
https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Access_Con ... t_Tutorial

Cheers!

I selected Modules & Menus for Mouse-over Edit Icons for but i still can change only articles from the frontend. Why can i not change menu items with redirection to backend?

Hi,

This option is enabled with the mouse-over in the menu item, I made a quick
test with the default protostar template, see the screenshot.

Most of the templates have support for this core functionality.

Cheers!

I've tested it with protostar also. What user groups is your user member of? May be you are under the superuser... I think the reason is in the access groups or may be in special privileges on menu module. But how to assign it and not make the user as powerful as superadmin? My user is a member of these standard groups: registered, author, editor, publisher
I tried to assign the privilege to correct menu module, but it only adds the possibility to change the menu module settings which are showed in a module manager while you are editing some module
