Category Blog articles in custom template

Hi,


I am working on my own custom template- the problem is I am not getting any effect while configuring category blog layout- articles are displayed in list only.

If I am changing the template - (for example - Beez 3) then blog layout works.


What will i need to configure more on my own custom template so it can allow me for a blog layout of my articles ?
