Database Version 5.5.37-cll
Database Collation latin1_swedish_ci
PHP Version 5.4.31
Web Server Apache
WebServer to PHP Interface apache2handler
Joomla! Version Joomla! 3.3.4 Stable [ Ember ] 23-September-2014 14:00 GMT
Joomla! Platform Version Joomla Platform 13.1.0 Stable [ Curiosity ] 24-Apr-2013 00:00 GMT
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/37.0.2062.124 Safari/537.36

Updated from 2.5.25 to 3.3.4
Everything working as expected except the Control panel
No other Errors being reported with error tracking turned on to Development

When trying to go to the Control Panel
1054 Unknown column '' in 'order clause' SQL=SELECT * FROM `y2s8c_postinstall_messages` WHERE `extension_id` = '700' AND `enabled` = '1' ORDER BY `` ASC
Clicking Return to Control panel button has same result

Cannot turn off Post Installation Messages
When trying via Component panel
get this error
1146 Table 'dbname_2014.y2s8c_postinstall_cpanels' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `y2s8c_postinstall_cpanels`

Cleared all cache and performed Database Fix, no change

found this workaround.
backup the public_html/libraries/fof directory
do not delete the subdirectories within this directory
delete all *.php files within the public_html/libraries/fof directory
with the exception of include.php

Control panel comes back without error.
Removal of other fof/*.php files do not seem to impact the operation of the admin area.
possibly something in the FOF *.php files that did not update?
