Joomla! 3.4.7, administration save button doesn't work

Joomla! 3.4.7, administration save button doesn't work

Upgraded Joomla to 3.4.7, went to console --> global configuration --> save

I got


The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.


I don't think there is network problem there, a bug in joomla instead.
Any idea?

I suggest try the fix given here:

The simple fix is to logout from Joomla and then to login again. People say it fixes most problems with this update.

I suspect, we might get a patch next week after the Christmas celebration is over.

I got the same problem after logout/in. Also cleared browser cache/cookie etc.. then tried it again, still no luck.

Will just wait for the patch then.
