SSL Zertifikat / Aktualisierung Joomla Topic is solved

Hallo Community,

ich soll eine Webseite auf Joomla übernehmen und z.B. regelmäßig das SSL Zertifikat erneuern.
Darüber hinaus, da Joomla absolut Neuland für mich ist, auch die Aktualisierungen durchführen.
Das Problem ist, dass der vorherige Betreuer der Webseite gestorben ist und es keine Aufzeichnungen gibt, welche Zertifizierungsstelle er verwendet hat:

1.) Ist es möglich im Kontrollzentrum zu sehen, welches SSL Zertifikat verwendet wurde?
Gibt es im Joomla Kontrollzentrum einen Unterpunkt um SSL einzurichten? Macht das evtl. der Support (wie bei meinem Provider)?
Wenn ich das SSL manuell einrichten muss, weiß bitte jemand wo ich eine Anleitung finden kann?

2.) Kann ich die Aktualisierungen (welche mir vorgeschlagen werden) bedenkenlos installieren oder gibt es da etwas zu beachten.

For SSl go to the hosts cpanel.
Before you install any updates make sure you back up the site first,good joomla sites have Akeeba backup installed,use that if you have it,if not install it before you do anything else....

What do you mean with the "CPanel" is the "Control Panel" I shall look in? (See attached picture)

The problem is, I have only the "login data" for joomla, nothing else

Your web site is hosted by someone? find out who hosts the site and then ask them for access to their server cpanel / plesk etc. From there you will find a section dealing with SSL,generally the free ssl is supplied by "lets encrypt" click there and you will be able to reinstall or install an SSL certificate. This has nothing to do with joomla...

I have solved the problem - finally.

I've upgraded all modules to the latest version incl. Joomla - worked fine.
I've also found out, where the website is hosted
