Add a 3rd state to Published and Unpublished - "EXPIRED"

Post by jumla15_guy » Wed Oct 21, 2015 6:05 pm

It would be nice if users of the JoomlaCMS would have one less plugin to purchase if you would simply add a 3rd unique state, EXPIRED to the existing Published and Unpublished.

So many 3rd modules and parts of your own CMS get non-definitive results as the Published and Published-Expired states are still linked even though functionally they should be separate states.

AMEN.

I publish a newspaper. It would be very useful for some items like Police Blotters to "Expire" after 60 days. Unpublished items still appear in Google searches.
