The Joomla! certification program ensures the competence of Joomla professionals through a tangible measurement of skills and knowledge.
A professional certification can play an important role in the decision of a company or business owner when hiring skilled individuals for specific roles.

Current Status
Currently the exam platform is almost ready. Exam questions in final review. And operation procedure being finalized.

When?
Exams will be available by the first quarter 2016

Business Opportunities
Currently application for Joomla Learning Partners (JLP) is open. If you doing Joomla related business, you can consider offer Joomla certification to your clients. There is no application fees and its FREE.

The certification platform is based on Open Source scripts and ready. Yes, You can!
We will have a certified user directory when the exam is launched.

At the moment the questions are in final review inline with current updates.
We will do second pilot test next week. If everything goes well, the project will be launched.

I'm pleased to hear that this idea is nearing a launch date. I first encountered hearing about the program back at JAB13 and I've been wondering where it got to. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of the next pilot.
