https version of site doesn't work

I have a problem with a Joomla 4 site that I was hoping you might know how to fix.

When I view https://www.midsurreybowls.co.uk the site and admin area at https://www.midsurreybowls.co.uk/administrator the site is broken, the styling is all over the place and the admin area won’t display or work properly.

If I view the non-https version at http://midsurreybowls.co.uk and http://midsurreybowls.co.uk/administrator , it works fine.

I have set public $force_ssl = 0; in the config file and when I change this to public $force_ssl = 1; or public $force_ssl = 2; even the non-https version of the site doesn’t work either.

J4 doesn't ship with Jquery? Just a guess your template is not J4 compatible.

Front end of your site appears to be working fine with HTTPS/SSL connection (no styling issues) but the administrator is shown un-styled with HTTPS.

Other potential issues:
Configuration file should be 444, not 777.

Already mentioned is out of date J4 version, update to 4.4.3. Also, I'd update PHP 7.4 to at least PHP 8.1

It seems the 'coworking' template and 'sparky' framework are J3, J4 & J5 compatible.

I have changed the php version to 8.1
zip and fileinfo extensions added for php 8.1 - iconv was not available

I tried to upgrade teh site to joomla 4.4.3 but got the folowikg erross:

HTTPS/SSL version of the site and the admin area is still not displaying correctly. Non HTTPS/SSL version of the site works perfectly.
