Caption under photos in article?

Is there an easy way to implement a caption under a photo of mine in an article?
I have tried adding DIVs to the photo and still not working.

Thx but did not work...

I added the code exactly as you pasted and the text does not show up under the image..

It does when the image is floated left. The screenshot proves it. Combinations of Float and Clear with nested divs works. You just need to persevere to get the effect you need.

Hello ,
For image galleries, images , and captions, I use the action "image-gallery" of the plugin UP! It is on the JED. It is Joomla 5 ready without the compat plugin https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/up/
You just need to add a shortcode in an article, or in a module, in the editor tab, no need to go to the code tab. Then it shows in a gallery the images present in a folder, or one image as you like.

You have several ways to add a caption. The one I prefer is a text file containing the captions in the image folder. You can see an example here https://voileux.org/2023-voileux-catalisa-scillies.html . On hover on the image you see the captions, but you can have the captions always shown.

UP! is a plugin with more than 140 actions. image-gallery is just one of them. I use UP! to show pdf files, responsive tables, and so much more. I have dramatically decreased the number of extensions on the "voileux" web site. At last UP! is for free, all the 140 actions, and the website with the examples to copy and paste.

Check "Show Caption" when editing the image in TinyMCE or enter the caption in "Figure Caption" field when inserting images from Media manager.

Tried all the editors and so far ARK seems the best and has caption but it does not show up in the code..

Which part did you find complicated? How are you inserting the images? When using Media manager or TinyMCE, the option to insert caption is right there.
