In Joomla 3 the meta keywords were found in Global Configuration right under the Site Meta Description box but I don't see this box in Joomla 4, am I overlooking it somewhere?

Ah, ok I hadn't realized that. Is this just a Google SEO thing or with all search engines? I don't suppose you might have any insight into my question that I asked here: viewtopic.php?f=816&t=1005941

Instead of using separators for menu link building does using links (for the title tags on a page) but using # instead of linking work to add keyword density to a page or does that title only affect the page being linked to?

I hope the way I am explaining that makes sense.

https://developers.google.com/search/bl ... s-meta-tag
Our web search (the well-known search at Google.com that hundreds of millions of people use each day) disregards keywords meta tag completely. They simply don't have any effect in our search ranking at present.

Why doesn't Google use the keywords meta tag?
About a decade ago, search engines judged pages only on the content of web pages, not any so-called "off-page" factors such as the links pointing to a web page. In those days, keyword meta tags quickly became an area where someone could stuff often-irrelevant keywords without typical visitors ever seeing those keywords. Because the keywords meta tag was so often abused, many years ago Google began disregarding the keywords meta tag.

These days, since Google indexes your entire pages and your 'keywords' should be incorporated into your content. I would guess other search engines follow similar methods.

You should also make sure your menu items are meaningful, as well as the menu item aliases as all that helps search engines rank your site. Even the fact you're using SSL (secure HTTPS) helps with that.
