Friendly v Unfriendly URL's

My site - rothiebowling.com

I have a menu item "Operations" with a submenu "Green Maintenance", a category "Green Maintenance" and a module "Green Maintenance" which displays a list of all articles with a category of "Green Maintenance"

If I select an article from the list it all displays fine but the URL is in the unfriendly format - I would really like it to be friendly

I know I could create a category list hidden menu item selecting the relevant category and that does work but it does seem to be a long winded solution

Any other ideas or suggestions as to where I'm going wrong would be much appreciated

Hmm, on a fresh J5 install such a module displays articles with friendly URLs, without any additional settings, etc.
Do you have in System Configuration/Site/SEO/Search Engine Friendly URLs = ON
Actually, how is your SEO section configured?
