Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.3.5 Released
I upgraded my test site to 3.3.5 earlier - now it isn't offered on my Prod site.
Has 3.3.5 been withdrawn?

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.3.5 Released
Take a look at: https://plus.google.com/+joomla/posts/XmkJAm4fCGS
Please delay updating your Joomla! installation to 3.3.5. Unfortunately, due to a small technical issue we need to release another version very soon. It is not recommended to install or update to 3.3.5. and 2.5.26
We are terribly sorry for this situation and we are working hard to resolve this as quick as possible.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.3.5 Released
Is that an official Joomla! statement, or even Google plus page? Nobody here has seemingly verified it? I'm a little confused as to why it is even posted here?rued wrote:Take a look at: https://plus.google.com/+joomla/posts/XmkJAm4fCGSPlease delay updating your Joomla! installation to 3.3.5. Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.3.5 Released
It's posted by Joomla at and from their G+ as you can see at the link, but it's also posted on Facebook and Twitter by Joomla.

So yes, it's official and easy to verify if you bother.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.3.5 Released
Why is this not clearly stated on the website, on the announcement for 3.3.5 and 2.5.26? Not everyone is following the G+, Facebook nor Twitter accounts...

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.3.5 Released
I rely on Joomla's RSS News feed, way before wading through gazillions of social media posts. But the feed has been broken for 2 days, so I've dutifully updated Joomla sites twice in the last week. When things calm down a bit, I hope the Joomla team makes corrections to the way they communicate major issues to us.
