Re: Discuss Joomla! 2.5.28 Released
Joomla 2.5.28 is the latest release in the Joomla 2.5 series.
The support of the Joomla 2.5 series ends this month.
I'd recommend to use Joomla 3.3.6 for a new site.

Wait a minute does that mean if there is Security Bug in 2.5.28 that everyone will be hackable?
I think Joomla 2.5 should at least get Security Updates till Joomla 3.4. That would be a more logical transfer from the old to the new roadmap.

I guess that it will be the same as with the Joomla 1.5 series:Outbreaker wrote:Wait a minute does that mean if there is Security Bug in 2.5.28 that everyone will be hackable?
Joomla 1.5.26 was the last release in the 1.5 series and 1.5 became End-Of-Life.
When a security issue was found, there was no new 1.5.27 release.
Some community members created a small patch that people with old Joomla 1.5.26 could install to secure their site again.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 2.5.28 Released
I'm a little nervous updating my site to the newest version from 2.5, does anyone have a link to a guide or something like that explaining the process so I can go about it safely?
