When updating from 3.3.6 I am getting:
An error has occurred.

1242 Subquery returns more than 1 row SQL=INSERT INTO `prt_update_sites_extensions` (`update_site_id`, `extension_id`) VALUES ((SELECT `update_site_id` FROM `prt_update_sites` WHERE `name` = 'Joomla! Update Component Update Site'), (SELECT `extension_id` FROM `prt_extensions` WHERE `name` = 'com_joomlaupdate'));

Suggest to verify with Extension manager->Database whether you have a sound J336 installation. Try Fix to repair when something is wrong.

Unless you updated to J336 and that update failed. Restore, fix environment and update to j366 again till it succeeds. No use in trying to fix a failed update, it doesn't work! There is no reason for an update to fail, fix your infrastructure when it does and update again after restoring from backup!

Proper restore from backup means you clean the existing installation. Don't restore on top. That doesn't work!

Cleaning existing installation means you want to save anything you can't reproduce. When installed in the root of the webspace that means .htaccess, robots.txt and maybe php[5].ini files. But it includes anything not provided by Joomla.
Issue with migrating? Include logs/joomla_update.php in your report!
Blank screen? Verify pagesource for HTML code (javascript error)
Installation failing on populating database? Install with set_time_limit(0)
Document your customizations!

I agree with Sovainfo. This must be something which was already not good earlier. We have never tested a release as this one with so much effort and intensity and the release is mainly a maintenance release and fixes the issues we discovered with the J3.4.0-release. The error as described by 'Random12" has not been encountered by the Bug Squad and rest assured we have upgrade this vehicle by the hundreds over the past weeks

Follow Sovainfo's advise please

Page navigation in Article Manager has broken in 3.4.1:
http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=728&t=880770

It was working in an out-of-box 3.3.6 and 3.4.0 but fails in an upgraded 3.4.1 and a new 3.4.1.

So here's a weird one. In Global Configuration, Save and Save & Close don't work in Firefox, but seem fine in Chrome and Safari.

Anyone else noticed this?

Note: interestingly, it seems fine on another site on the same server (using Firefox) that is still on 3.3.6. The client had updated to PHP 5.4.38 and I wondered if that had anything to do with it. Hmm...!

i don t see anything like your issue in 3.4.1 in firefox. I am also sure that php 5.4.38 has nothing to do with this. please check your firefox better i think. may be clear cache, maybe a plugin in firefox, i m not sure for that. Also what template you use in backend?

How often should I erase the cache? Why is this an important factor?
