We would not be able to delete anyway COM_CONTENT_ITEM_ASSOCIATIONS_FIELDSET_LABEL, just deprecate it.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
Looking at zulugreen's screenshot the tabs are horizontal like Isis screen not vertical like Hathor. This suggest that someone or a 3rd party extension has added an override in the /administrator/templates/isis/html similar to the one in the administrator/templates/hathor/html/com_content/articles

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
Yes, indeed it was a template issue. Isis seems to have changed in 3.4.4 and as I was using custom Isis-based template the 3.4.4 changes did not apply.Webdongle wrote:Looking at zulugreen's screenshot the tabs are horizontal like Isis screen not vertical like Hathor. Thanks everyone for your help, the issue is solved now.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
@LeoLam,
Have you got the release date for 3.5 yet? According to the Roadmap, it is October but wondered if the date has been fixed yet.
Apparently, there is an "opt-In" and "Opt-Out" plugin for certaqin anonymized data gathering process by Joomla decision makers so I wondered if the clear instructions have been prepared for people to opt-out of such data gathering process. Is it likely to be as simple as deactivating the plugin module or is it something more involved to achieve this?.
Thanks for any info you can give us here.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
The Production Leadership Team decides on the release and I am not a member of that Team. I am a member of the Bug Squad which operates under Leadership of PLT and I have not seen yet any signs of changes in the Roadmap. However please realize that we clearly state in the Roadmap that the dates are never fixed and are depending on the progress in testing (Bug Squad and Joomla users) of release branches and on other issues we might encounter during the Commits we make for the next release.xfsgpr wrote:@LeoLam,

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
Thank you Leo and Brian.
I guess I'll wait for 3.4.5 that comes out next Thursday 15:00 BST. Apparently, it is very important security patch so can't be without it for long.
Thanks to all here.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
There is a long and boring technical reason - suffice to say there was some data with invalid metadata that when it was fixed resulted in the email

I know we are slowly getting taken-over by automatic updates and more.
I know Google, Microsoft and such are all conspiring to do things we did not know about.
I know every morning I hope to find that things still work as the night before.
I am happy that this was just a so-called technical reason ( another word for stupid mistake?).
I am double happy that it was not something I did do or did not do.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
It is super important that everybody updates their site the minute the release is available! This is High Risk and it is not for nothing that the Leadership has announced this so far ahead of the release so people can prepare. This is a MUST update!xfsgpr wrote:Apparently, it is very important security patch so can't be without it for long.

Even if Joomla is not an automatic update on once site, installing the latest code `might` have surprises as well.alikon wrote:i don't think so, or at least here in joomla coomunity, the code is open and available "always" at https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cmsI know we are slowly getting taken-over by automatic updates and more.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 3.4.4
Yes but therefor we have the BuGSquad, a Team of Joomla users and professionals, operating under the Production Leadership who are testing and testing and testing all new developments before it is merged in a future release. Testing cannot always emulate every production environment. So yes some things might creep in but therefore we always call for more testers and more people joining the Bug Squad. Nobody needs to be coder. Any user can test things..... So just jump in?Chris wrote:Even if Joomla is not an automatic update on once site, installing the latest code `might` have surprises as well.
Just to maker sure.... The forthcoming release you for sure wanna install asap if you learn what this is all about!
