Just a remark ...
The button download Joomla at left in home page ... Should be 1.09 now (instead of 1.08)

It was changed at the time of the release of 1.0.9 - you need to clear your browser cache.

Firefox especially has a very robust caching system which means that it can hold on to caching longer then expected.

a workaround to clearing cache
is holding down the  key on your keyboard while clicking  on the "Reload" button
or hit on your keyboard all at the same time

This way you are sure to get an uncached page
;)

Yes and it is something one needs to be very mindful of in developing - clear cache regularly.
Especially when it comes to testing javascript.

Sometimes I have found I have had to clear the cache several times.  These days its an almost automatic reaction for me when testing/developing to ensure I clear cache.

Very impressive number of bug fixes and security related fixes! I love being a part of a project with so much forward progress. The updates to included packages also warrants some investigation. Thanks again!  :laugh:

Great job Stingrey! The upgrade 1.08 to 1.09 went well. Now it would be nice if JCE and xhtmlsuite 508 will do the same, invest a lot of time in getting things stabel.

Keep on going Joomlateam!

Hi,

Was there changes made to the way the main menu was displayed? Two of my sites that have horizontal menus have lost their padding between items; even if there is padding set in the CSS.

eg: http://www.transteahtravelandtourism.co.za

I'm just a php hack, but it looks like the parantesis are missing here:

index2.php - lines 76-79

if ( $do_pdf == 1 ){
include $mosConfig_absolute_path .'/includes/pdf.php';
exit();
}

BTW, I just upgraded a copy of my site, and all seems to be going well. Still testing, but it looks like great work. Thank you very much for all the development work.

Take it from a first-timer. After reading some of the concerns, I was hesitant too. But I had NO problem what so ever. It's an easy upgrade. Only things I made sure I had back up were revisions in my style sheets and my front page code where I made a few modifications. Excellent conversion. I wish they were all this easy. Good job!

I have strange bug after update. Updated 1.0.8 to 1.0.9 stable.

Everything works great, except, that the languages and the templates do not appear in the admin panel. So basicly the list of the templates and languages is empty.

Any ideas?

Is there a mailing list or some such mechanism so that people can subscribe to be e-mailed about new releases? I've been looking through the forums and the main site and can't seem to find anything indicating a place to register for such a list. Rather than checking the main site every day, I'd like it if an e-mail could be sent to let me know when a new release is available.

Hi,
I did an upgrade from 1.0.8 -> 1.0.9. It seemed to run just fine, but I've noticed some issues in the backend.

Code:
Notice: Use of undefined constant _CURRENT_SERVER_TIME_FORMAT - assumed '_CURRENT_SERVER_TIME_FORMAT' in /customers/sportsfiskeren.net/sportsfiskeren.net/httpd.www/administrator/components/com_content/admin.content.html.php on line 158

I get alot of these "notices" in the different content-views. I tried upgrading to 1.0.10, but the error is still present..

Any hints?
