Everyone update NOW - one of those issues is very critical and we suspect it will be public in a few hours.

When will the update appear in the updates view of the extension component?
I just refreshed and Joomla is still reporting "up to date"

It worked for me right after the release but others have reported, that they had to refresh and empty cache several times.

Hi all,
can you confirm that the Joomla_2.5.0_to_2.5.3-Stable-Patch_Package is valid also to update from 2.5.1 to 2.5.3?

Yes the packages are as followed:
2.5.0 -> 2.5.3 is for users on 2.5.0 or 2.5.1
2.5.2 -> 2.5.3 is for users on 2.5.2
2.5.3 stable update package is for users on 1.7.x

With the new release of Joomla 2.5.3, I cannot update any of the Custom HTML modules that I have nor can I create them. I need to be able to create and modify Custom HTML modules. Can anyone assist me?
