Can anyone direct me to what exactly it was that brian contibuted?

This is a well-deserved win for you all.

It sounds trite, I know, but I have evaluated a lot of CMS packages and time and time again Joomla! proves itself to be the simplest, most powerful CMS solution going...no question about it.
